The planned development of this touristic locality (sport-recreational equipment, with the use of geo-thermal springs, as well as reconstruction of existing and construction of planned infrastructure), will improve the development of surrounding settlements, and the whole region of SRN Deliblatska peščara.
Likewise, projected highway route M-1.9. Pančevo-Vršac, and regional road Devojački Bunar-Vekerle-Dolovo, will contribute to the development of this area, through transit tourism and better connection of this South Banat part with wider region.
The possibility of truck farming, by the use of geothermal water for greenhouses, fruit-growing and viticulture, construction of fish ponds in Nikolinci - this is all very significant for Alibunar settlements.
Wind power
Study "Atlas of winds AP Vojvodina» 2008 gave a detailed analysis of wind conditions on the territory of Vojvodina from the aspect of speed and energy potential. The analysis used data on the speed and direction of winds blowing from the main meteorological station (GMO) Hydro-Meteorological Institute of Serbia, which are located in Vojvodina (8 stations). The period 2000-2007 is analysed and digitization of measuring results is made.
Results of WASP software processing include the following:
- Climatology of speed at 10 m for 8 stations,
- Wind Atlas at 50 m above the ground and
- Detailed maps of wind speed in m / s and mean wind power density in W/m2 for 8 stations
Based on these results using the interpolation method and using the software Surfer, analists came to the detailed map of wind speed in m / s and mean wind power density in W/m2 for the whole territory of Vojvodina for 10m, 25m, 50m, 100m and 200m height above the ground.
The final results of the study show that the municipality Alibunar is rich in quality winds, especially at altitudes of more than 50m above the ground, especially over 100m above the ground, which corresponds to modern wind power stations 2-5 MW. Particularly emphasizes the area of south and southeast of Banat, where wind energy is fully economically profitable (mean annual wind speed over 6m / s).
