On the following dates, municipal administration officially celebrates and organizes manifestations, which are held on the territoty of Republic, Municipality or some settlements:
  • The Day of Municipality- October, 3rd
  • The Day of Municipal Board- June, 13th
In accordance to Law on public holidays in Republic of Serbia, national holidays are:
  • New Year- January, 1st and 2nd
  • The Day of statehood- February, 15th
  • Labour-Day- May, 1st
In Republic of Serbia, there are celebrated religious holidays:
  • First day of Christmass-January, 7
  • Easter holidays-starting from Good Friday to the second day of Easter
Beside forementioned holidays, employees have right on holiday during specific religious holidays:
  • Orthodox- first day of their “slava”- family patron saint
  • Catholics and other Christian religious community members- first day of Christmass, and Easter holidays according to their calendar
  • Islam religious community- foirst day of Ramasan bajram and the first day of Kurban bajram.
  • Jewuish religious community members- first day of Jom Kipur
Holidays that are celebrated on work:
  • St Sava- January, 27th
  • Victory day- May, 9th
  • Vidovdan- June, 28th
